Far East Movement – Dirty Bass (Feat Tyga)
With the new release of Far East Movement's album on May 22nd, the team just dropped a "dirty" bomb on us, so to speak. The song has YMCMB star Tyga featured on it to provide us with a few lyrical rhymes as FEM kills it with the Synth and bass as Dev's Autotuned voice is in the background. Its a typical FEM track, so if you like em, give it a listen.
The official video has already been recorded, so be ready to see it here at AOTC when it drops!

Purity Ring - Obedear
My mind has been bursting at the seams about what to write about this track. This is only Purity Ring's fourth song released, they don't even have a website with info but you can already tell that these guys mean business. I must have played this song at least 15 times. Its THAT good.. I did a little more digging and I found out that they're under the Last Gang Ent. label. Just in case you were wondering the label is an umbrella for Chromeo, Datsik, Lights, Huoraton and some other fuego A$$ artists.

Skrillex & Damian Marley - MAKE IT BUN DEM
I usually can't step off my bed in the morning without tripping over a dubstep and reggae mash-up, but with such big names in this collab, I had to gave it a listen or three. Damian's strikingly seductive vocals slash and burn through Skrillex's backing bass and snare in such a way that made me feel as if I has just emptied my bowels of a delicious Thanksgiving turkey dinner (relevant: cookingwithskrillex.tumblr.com). Once Skrilly comes in with his sky-high pitched wubs and growly whomps, you'll be bobbing and weaving while this sexy mix mushes up the bass.

FIONA (MISS 2.1) - Boy Toy Dubstep Remix
Well what have we here? I somehow(don't ask) came upon this banging dance beat by Fiona called "Boy Toy". The song was super slick with good vocals and some nice synth. But it was missing something... I dug a little deeper and what did i find? A so good dubstep banger that will want to make you slap yo momma!! 3 Shots Productions, who actually has Fiona under the labels decided to do a little remix of their own when they released this bad track.

Florence And The Machine - Cosmic Love(Seven Lions Remix)
Chillstep Galore!! Florence and the Machine is awesome. Everyone Knows this. But, how could they be made more awesome? Take one part "Cosmic Love" and one part Seven Lions, and viola! The O.G track is smooth with Florence's voice and a nice drum beat in the back ground. This remix essentially keeps that same beat but also expands upon it and really takes this song to a whole nother level. There are some good, vivid drops and the dubstep blends perfectly with the mood of the O.G track.
I dare you to go download Seven Lions EP "Polarize" and see what he's all about.

Santigold - Look At These Hoes
I dont know about you, but im ready for Santigold's new album "Master of my Make Beleive" to hit the U.S shores May 1st. The U.K already has it and yes i am jelly bro. very jelly. Another track of the album called "Look At These Hoes" dropped and like "Disparate Youth", this song is a instant hit. With a sick drum beat in the back while Santigold rips the vocals and chorus, makes this track addictive to listen to. Bonnaroo and lollapalooza are just around the corner (She's going to be there), I know the new album is going to be the talk around the water cooler.

Owl Eyes - Cristalised
Brooke Addamo, otherwise known as Owl Eyes is an indie pop singer straight from the down under, Australia. She is a super up and comer, but shes no stranger to music. She was a finalist in the Australian Idol in '08 and the released an EP "Faces" in 2010. This is the first I've ever heard of her since she usually only does tours in Australia and the UK. Check out this track and your instantly realize why she was a finalist in the Australian Idol and deserves a spot at AOTC.. This Saucy Aussie can sing!! The song starts out with some nice synth, but she shines brightest with her long, drown out vocals and she hits the highs effortlessly. On top of that, shes cute! She needs to come down here to the states so that we can see her live!

Bare - Ursa Major EP
The West coast bass champ BARE decided to make this week better for all us AOTC listeners by dropping his EP "Ursa Major" AKA "Big Bare". I naturally turned up my bass and got ready for what was about to ensue. I wasn't prepared....
Zedd - Stars Come Out (Datsik Remix)
Is it just me or is Datsik taking over the world? First he remixes Kaskade n Skrillex, and now he remixes Zedd... Does this guy ever take a break!? Usually when a remix of a song is released, I try and listen to the O.G track first so I can notice the difference in the Remix. I heard the original and its a straight dance beat with the cliche build up and a little baby drop, nothing special. I tuned in to the remix and it still has a little house to it but the dubstep is heavy and all you want to do is bob your head and enjoy the bricklaying drops.

Aubrey O'Day - Wrecking Ball
Aubrey O'Day, singer, actress, designer, and all around t.v personality has dropped a pretty good pop hit, "Wrecking ball". Her voice flows smooth and it almost has a little countryish feel to it, during the chorus. Since her split from Dannity Kane, Aubrey has made a name for herself while working alone. Seems like shes doing something right, as shes now in the Celebrity Apprentice which premiered in mid February.

Boyfriend - Justin Bieber (remix by Konrad OldMoney)
Who said Justin Beiber is crap!? All you have to add is some drum and bass, slow it down, and toss a little dub in and there you go, a beast track by Konrad OldMoney! The Canadian producer definitely had his work cut out for him in order to make this pop hit into an electro dub banger, but i think he did a phenomenal job. Feel free to drop me a comment and lemme know what you think.

Kaskade & Skrillex - Lick it (Datsik Remix) VIDEO
Kaskade. Skrillex. Datsik. That is all. This sick collaboration with Kaskade and Skrillex was made even sicker when Datsik dropped some dub onto it. The video itself is the original mix and if you've seen any of skrillex's videos, you know what to expect. Happy Viewing.

M.I.A- Bad Girls(Manic Focus Dubstep Remix) +Others
Not a bad Dubstep remix by Manic Focus, taking M.I.A's Bad Girls and making it even badder by adding some dubstep griminess to it. They've also done some pretty good work remixing Gary Jules' Mad World and Dani California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. If you liked any of these tracks, make sure to take a look at their album "Definition of Rhythm" which dropped some time ago. Its a FREE download.
Bassnectar - VaVa Voom(Video) + Ping Pong
With their recent release of the EP VaVa Voom, Bassnectar dropped the video to the single. With music festival season in full swing, expect this track to played in mass at festivals and computers alike. You know you can never go wrong with Bassnectar and Lupe Fiasco, and they sure as heck didn't disappoint here. This banger has the right mix of both hip hop and dubstep and will leave you wanting more.

Linkin Park - Burn it down
Its been a while since Linkin Park has graced us with some new tracks, and its been long overdue. I get the feeling that when i listen to their music i either really love the track or i hate it. After hearing this newly released song, i get a glimpse of some tight electrics, smooth chorus and verses to which they were known for.
i see better things in their future and upcoming album "Living Things" dropping June 26, 2012.
