Zee Avi - Swell Window & Concrete Wall

There's a lot of soul and spunk packed into this 25 year old singer/songwriter. The Malaysian beauty Zee Avi is definitely an old soul with a knack for groovy worldly sounds. Even though her sophomore album was released in August 2011 and she has performed at various music fests like Bonnaroo & Litlith Fair, it doesn't seem like Zee Avi gets the attention she deserves.


Swell Window is a melodic and cheery tune that could make a bad day bearable. It has been featured in films and shows such as Gossip Girl & 21 Jump Street. Even though EVERY song on her newest album Ghostbird is awesome, Concrete Wall is another one you have to listen to. Everything from the lyrics to the rhythm to the beats & crescendos make the song worth a listen.
